Actors in SLL Works Honored at the 2023 APAN Star Awards

  Actors starred in SLL titles received the 2023 APAN Star Awards. The awards, now in its ninth year, is an integrated drama awards ceremony that encompasses all channel content, including terrestrial, general programming, cable, OTT, and web dramas.

  Performers from "King the Land," "Doctor Cha," "Narco-Saints," "D.P. 2," and "Big Bet" were honored. Notably, Jun-ho from "King the Land" took home five awards, including the Grand Prize, and Uhm Jeong Hwa from "Doctor Cha" won the Top Excellence Award for Actress in a Miniseries. "Big Bet" director Kang Yun-sung won Best Screenwriter, while SLL productions were recognized in both the Performance and Production categories.

SLL Officials Recognized at 2023 Korea Content Awards

  Byeon Seung-min, President of SLL label CliMAX STUDIOS, was honored with the Prime Minister's Citation at the 2023 Korea Content Awards, which recognizes outstanding content and those who have contributed to the development of the content industry throughout the year. CliMAX STUDIOS is the SLL label behind the dramas "Bargain" and "D.P." as well as the film "Concrete Utopia," and Byeon Seung-min was recognized for raising the profile of K-content in the global market.

  In addition, director Jung Dae-yoon was awarded the Citation of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The series "Reborn Rich," directed by Jung Dae-yoon, achieved the highest viewership ratings and topicality when it aired, and was not only popular in Korea and abroad, but was also nominated for the International Emmy Awards.

The Series “Doctor Slump” Premieres on January 27

  The upcoming series "Doctor Slump" has released a poster and trailer. The series is a romcom about doing CPR on the 'ruined lives' of Yeo Jeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul, who had promising lives and then fell into a slump. The drama will provide warm laughter and flutter through the journey of two rivals reuniting in the darkest days of their lives and becoming each other's light.

  Park Shin-hye will play Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist with burnout syndrome, and Park Hyung-sik will portray Yeo Jeong-woo, a star plastic surgeon who falls into the worst slump of his life. Through the reunion of Nam Ha-neul and Yeo Jeong-woo, who share their best and worst days, the series will deliver comfort to the audience.

The Series "Queen of Divorce" Prepares to Meet Its Audience

  "Queen of Divorce" is set to air soon. The series, which released a poster and trailer ahead of its January 31 premiere, tells the story of ex-couple Sarah (played by Lee Ji-ah) and Gi-jun (played by Kang Ki-young) who join hands to become 'Divorce Troubleshooters' - defenders of divorcees who are wronged. They serve up justice in this divorce revenge drama with a touch of romance.

  Kim Sarah, a daughter-in-law at a top Korean law firm turned team leader of divorce settlement company 'Solution,' and Dong Gi-jun, a prosecutor nicknamed 'German Shepherd' turned advisory lawyer at Solution, will bring a sense of humor and excitement as they work out solutions for their clients who are struggling with divorce issues.

The Series "Death's Game" Part 2 Debuts in the Global TOP 2 on Prime Video

  "Death's Game" has continued its popularity after the release of Part 2, ranking in the TOP 10 on Prime Video in approximately 71 countries and entering the charts of various countries such as France and Mexico in addition to Southeast Asia countries. In Part 2, a fierce "death game" unfolded between Choi Yee-jae, who was awakened by the loss of a loved one, and Death, a transcendent being. The series was praised for its tightly connected narrative and actors' performances, as well as its direction and adaptation, which utilized the strengths of the original webtoon and added visual effects and links between episodes.

  In addition, the drama delivered a penetrating message through Choi Yee-jae's narration that each day that passes by easily becomes a life and that we should keep moving forward even if we fail.
